what would you like to have seen?

if youve read Future Noir you know that Ridley didnt have nearly the freedom he wanted, whether it be lack of money or producers, etc. so say your the producer and you have given ridley enough money to do whatever what would you want in the movie?

More Replicants - would of given the story some more action eg Deckard teaming up with Gaff and going into the battle field, would of made a great scene :P

Perhaps a scene where the cops or other Blade Runner's go after Rachel and Deckard tries to stop them from doing so?

I don't know from what friends have told me it needs more action but not too much, beside that the movie seems preety good the way it is :)

hmm, interesting

i was thinking more along the lines of special FX or scenes that needed to be in to make the story a little less confusing

first and foremost the Zhora dance scene.

second perhaps at least a better voice over...and maybe perhaps the scene that was in the story boards with the real tyrell in the cryo freeze.

other than that I am not bothered by the lack of action

I thought the movie was perfect. Except for some more obvious technical flaws I really don't want anything to change!

(Ok, I want to see the original Off World opening scene too but I like the opening scene as it is.)

Complete scenes intended to be in the movie. In addition to Zhora's dance scene...

>Deckard/Holden hospital scene.

>Scene where Chew is found by detectives/police after the visit from Batty and Leon, and chew is discovered when he is accidently bumped into and his frozen corpse shatters as it hits the floor.

>Scene(s) with Mary (the missing replicant).

  • The replicant 'off-world' rebellion.
  • The shuttle hijacking.
  • Deckard returning to LA on the train from his 'vacation'.

Basically, a longer, more detailed build up to the 'hunt'.

the hospital Scene!!!

maybe the proposed cryofreaze scene w the real tyrell

more overhead shots of LA in the same style as the descent to the Police Headquarters

more shots of buildings from street level

the real dialogue between Deckard and Hassan!!! (in the newest version!)

I totally agree about the dialog with Hassan. It must be fixed. Every new person I show this movie to points to that scene as to why they don't like the movie.

The hospital scene was cut for a reason. But zhora's snake dance scene seems like a hole in the movie. the only reason it wasn't filmed is that they wouldn't give him the money to do what he wanted with it.

As stated in Future Noir, I would have liked to have see the original version of the bathroom scene when Deckard scoops up the snake scale from the tub.

Originally, Leon was supposed to be gripping to the ceiling and looking down at Deckard, but Deckard doesn?t see him, so nothing happens. That would?ve been very suspenseful.

I can just picture it: The camera pans up from the floor to show Deckard crouched over the tub. Behind him you can see Leon?s silhouette hanging above in the shadow. His replicant eyes are glowing as he looks down at Deckard.

i think the off world crematorium secne would have been real good along with deckard comming in on the train, hell all the scenes intogether would have made for an awsome movie damned if its 3hrs long the more the merrier IMO.

This is in reference to the film noir book: I believe it's the chapter where set design and execution is discussed, specifically when Pris is walking toward the Bradbury building, in this chapter there was supposed to be a shot from above looking down at her showing multi-leveled highways below her w traffic etc.

This seems like a great asset to the movie for a city shot. Also if anything else was scrapped, like the extra workprint version sityscapes and streetscapes, that need to get back in ther, and........maybe the 20 extra sec. of Roy Chasing Deckard.

im running a blank as to what else might give BR it;s finishing touches.

any ideas ????!???

I like your thoughts on this matter, i would also like thoose "mega city" shots, thoose scenes where the share size and population is shown in SFI-FI movies are always great.
