I've nothing against PC games (I used to buy and play loads) or any other platform - the PS2 is a fine machine - you should try it and all other platforms - if you don't like it, don't buy it - if you haven't tried, then you really can't comment, can you?

I hope your not saying that MP's best feature is the ability to grab screens - there are many PS2 games where you can direct and save the replays, such as Gran Turismo 3 and SSX, so what?

Anyway, I'm not interested in graphics, I want interesting and varied gameplay first, 'eye candy' second. I think most games produced today are more about visuals and not much else - there were some brilliant games produced on the early home computers that obviously had very limited graphical and audio abilities - todays games are all about how many polys-per-second, what framerate, what resolution and 'do I need to upgrade my audio/graphics/cpu/memory to play it?' - this is where consoles are better than PC's - it's a fixed spec, and therefore the developers don't have a 'moving' specification target to aim at. PC's are better at online games and features such as level design and modification - the consoles will soon have all that too.

I will make my own mind up about MP when I get it next week.
_________________

The difference between the impossible and the possible is equal to the difference between today and tomorrow.

[ This Message was edited by: Deckard BR26354 on 2001-11-04 08:26 ]

We each live in our own realities - who's maintaining yours?
The only thing that you can be 100% sure of, is that you can't be 100% sure of anything.

I have some ideas for the story. For example: November 2020, Replicants are taking control of many sectors of LA with the help of CARS (Citizens Against Replicant Slavery).Blade Runner Ross Dietrich is one of the officers assigned to stop this rebelion.
But this is only one of the ideas.
Replicants are like any other machine. They can be a benefit or a hazard. If they're a benefit is not my problem.
OK, ok, calm down Deck... please..

Your right, I'm not playstations biggest fan, and Max Paine is a good game (there is ALOT more to it than what I said), so.. um.. take a chill pill.

*runs away*
