He is good, but so is John Williams.

Hi,
in my opinion Vangelis is much better than john williams. Williams has a much larger body of work as far as soundtracks go but listen to them, with the exeption of the jaws theme a lot of his work is very similar, you could put this down to style if you want but i think Vangelis' skill at experimentation has helped him reinvent his style as time has passed.

It's becase of vangelis i started to learn to play the piano, i wanted to learn to play memories of green so i bought a cheap keyboard, a few months later i found an italian vangelis book in a second-hand shop and along with several pieces from chariots of fire and other albums was memories of green, i couldn't believe it such an amazing coincidence.
Do you got the notes somewhere for Blade Runner songs?? I can play a keyboard and sing well.. so I would be interested to got my hands on the notes
But I'm not a big Vangelis fan. He is a good musician in his field of music. But my taste of music is so wide, that i got many favorite musicians
