New to board and a few Spinner questions

Just went to the website for the Poilice Museum. The have an interior map or the museum with a police vehicle section.l One of the vehicles is listed as BLADE RUNNER. I guess the spinner is still there.

Ill try and swing by this weekend and take some pics.

Err, the article says the Alfa Romeo model was a "Special EFX" exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry Los Angeles circa 1988.

Are we talking about the same thing?

That's looking fantastic. I have one of tose models as well and plan on converting it. Where exactly did you find the tear drop beads?

I found the beads at an arts and crafts store called Michaels (don't know if they're found everywhere though). The beads look like little Xmas lights.
I had to trim off a small prong sticking out of it then I sanded one side flat to get the right shape. Then I used a fingernail buffer to shine it up.

As far as I know, Michaels is everywhere. They have it here in Colorado, were some in New Mexico, in Florida, Louisiana...safe to assume it's a nationwide store. Hobby Lobby might have them as well (it's the Michael's alternative hobby shop)
