thanks. yeah, ill rewrite it this weekend, since i have next week off. heck, maybe ill just rewrite it tonight and include what concept images i can find for a whole article.

for the furnace i described, yeah, it was a furnace as it says in future noir, but the way syd mead described it, i think he described it as a pit or a cliff of lava or fire. maybe my imagination just took its course while he was talking. i remember seeing the images in the future noir book and on google image search. i never saw the orgasmo machine though until now.

i would love to see syd mead again as a visual futurist on a movie with unlimited budget. heck, maybe syd mead himself would love to direct a movie, he has a lot of story ideas from the way he explains his artwork.

what would be cool is if we could get a blade runner gettogether, like a convention, and get syd mead to give the presentation again. i really regret not taking my mini dv camera, even with its dirty heads (i cleaned them yesterday). maybe he'll come by again, he was in town visiting friends and family, so maybe heell visit again while im still attending the school.

Sorry. What you see is what I have. The most important part of this is the writing content, IMHO. I feel the resolution is adequate enough, thus my posting them on KippleZone. :D

Well, the article is done...FINALLY! It's longer than what I orignally posted here, better grammar, and illustrations (thanks to Kipple). Now I just need to know who or where to send it to. Currently it's an OpenOffice.org document (.odt) But I can export ot to html if necessary.

I saw the commercial for this and saw Syd Mead's artwork, and although he wasn't mentioned I assumed he would be featured in it. I'm definitely going to be watching it.

Sounds like something definitely worth catching.
