Has anyone said Natural City? It's a korean sci-fi action flick that takes quite a bit of inspiration from blade runner.

Hardware is an old 80's cyberpunk with Dermot Mulroney. It has an interesting feel to it.

Outland has it's Alien and Blade Runner touches in there.

The new CGI Appleseed is also well worth renting or buying.

Yes, Appleseed. THe first anime I have ever looked forward to watching...and I still haven't seen it. When i saw the trailer, my first thoughts were "the matrix/Deus Ex/Blade Runner". Worth renting or buying? What does it have in terms of special features?

I bought the 2 disc SE in the metal box, and I watch this thing constantly. The special features are mostly dubbed japanese, but it has loads of interviews, footage of the motion capture sessions (which is cool to watch) lots of the design work, it's a really good special edition for that. I have yet to finish watching the features because there are so many.

The regular edition, I cannot speak for. :D
