As far as I'm aware, the events between Zhora's death and Deckard taking Rachael to his apartment were originally filmed in a different order (I think I read this in Future Noir). After retiring Zhora, Deckard is almost immediately confronted and beaten up by Leon, who is then shot by Rachael. After that, Rachael and Deckard both walk to a nearby store where Deckard gets some Tsung Tao (or however you spell it), and after his meeting with Bryant and Gaff... actually, I don't know what happens after that. I think Rachael gets lost or something.
But it's fair to assume that a fair amount of deleted footage exists from that original sequence, such as Deckard getting up after his fight (like you mentioned), and Rachael standing by the big JOVAN sign in one of the trailers.
And I'd love to know what's going on in these two photos: Photo 1 Photo 2

Some other stuff:
-Deckard's apartment: footage exists of Rachael removing the shot glass from Deckard's chest.
Also, there's the great shot of Rachael sitting in the Argyle chair smoking a cigarette, which appeared in some of the trailers.
-J.F's apartment: Before Pris has put her 'raccoon' makeup on, there was a scene where she had rats crawling all over her!

Other than that, I can't think of anything else to add right now... nice work with the list!

I have a strange feeling this might make it back into "The Final cut"

This is more an alternate scene than a deleted one, but Future Noir has a quote by Brion James mentioning that he is inside the Yukon Hotel room with Deckard. He's perched in the upper corner, wedged between the two walls like a spider. Another part (this might be part of the scene) is that Leon stands outside the window watching Deckard (maybe flipping through the photos, I can't recall correctly).

If I remember correctly, they never filmed that. That's why I didn't list that. Thanks, though.

there is plenty more material you have not mentioned, simply because it was never released. There is a handfull of extra scenes to be re-inserted, and these scenes were never discussed in future noir.

Why weren't they mentioned/discussed in the book?

Probably because of the editing process. Sammon said he wanted to release a "expanded edition" copy of the book with ALL of the stuff that was removed during the editing of the book.

http://www.brmovie.com/Downloads/Docs/Sammon.txt

"N: A couple of years ago you said, "I'd really, really love to have an expanded edition of Future Noir out in bookstores by 2002, to tie in with the film's twentieth anniversary." And we would love to read it. Will we be seeing it? With the 300 excluded pages reinstated? And updates on all that has happened since, including the making of the Special Edition?"

Well I would assume that with ANY movie, there would be plenty of deleted material. I'm just trying to compilate what we know about, what has been see, released ect.

A few years ago I was emailing back and forth with a certain DVD producer who was at the time working on the BR special edition DVD, putting together the special features and conducting new interviews.

I asked him directly if he knew of a Deckard gun reloading scene, and he said he did not know of one, and had not seen one in the many hours of footage he'd been viewing.

The thing is, the scene is confirmed as existing, according to Future Noir.

I know what FN says, I've read it 3 times! It's why I asked him about it! :)

I'm not throwing it out there as an indisputable fact, I'm just sharing a story as part of the discussion. Future Noir is a love letter to the movie, to Ridley Scott really. It's not an encyclopedia. I don't know that every single thing in the book is dead on, 100% accurate. It glosses over some things, and kinda leans in Ridley's favor on some things I'm sure others on set might disagree with. Just watch On The Edge of Blade Runner, and you get the idea that some of the things fans have taken on as fact might not be if you talk to Bud Yorkin!

It is one of the three major confirmed differences in the SD sneak peak. Why on earth would someone make that up? I can't see the logic in deceiving Blade Runner fans for so many years.

Paul is not the someone, BTW.

I do agree that not everything in OTEOBR is true. It was stated that Ford had read the VO poorly intentionally. Ford, years later, said that no, they did it several times, it just came out bad because BR was never supposed to have one.
