When i first saw this film on tv almost 15 years ago, i vividly remember seeing an external shot of Deckard's sedan cut in to the footage from the Shining at the end of the movie.

although i would have only been about 9 or 10 years old at the time, i am fairly certain of what i saw for a number of diferent resons:

1, at the time i recal thinking "shit i thought they were in that cool flying police car"

2, 3 or 4 years ago i found a black and white photo of the sedan on the open road (away from the city) its a birds eye view probably taken from a helicopter. this isn't how i saw the car in the movie, it was definatly shot from a low angle.

3, in Future noir Paul M Sammon talks about Ridly Scott and a small crew taking the car on the back of a trailer to the hills around Burbank, to film the interear shots of Deckard and Rachael.

can some one please let me know that i am not emagining the hole thing.
chears

I'm surprised nobody answered this yet. You are referring to the "happy ending" as tacked on to the original theatrical release. Look at this page (and the following page) of the Blade Runner magazine.

The sequence will (hopefully) be restored in one of several versions of the movie that is supposed to appear on the very special edition (not to be missed) DVD when it does eventually come out (by no later than 2019, I hope).
