What is the technical name for the Blaster? I have heard it being called the C&S Blaster and also called the PDK Mark II Blaster. Anyone want to shed some light on this?

Welcome, GBVA.

I got this from the BR Encyclopedia mentioned on the other post.

"PK-D: Abbreviation for Plager/Katsumata Series D, the unofficial name of the regulation-issue blade runner gun. Coined by Rick Ross at Doppelganger Productions, who constructed the first authentic replica available for fans. The name is a hommage to Philip K. Dick."

I don't recall an official name being used, but the two names you mention are from two different replica makers. The C&S Detective Special was the name used by Richard A. Coyle and the Plager Katsumate Series-D was the name made up by Rick Ross (as it says in the EBR, an homage to Philip K. Dick).

I've actually just finished a Blasters and Guns page with much more information if you're interested. (And intend to add more so if anyone has any info not already there, please let me know.)
